Bike will not turn over

Bike will not turn over

The bike has been stood for several years, I’ve drained and replaced all fluids but when I came to start nothing happens. I don’t get the neutral light on but bike is in neutral is there any electrical system that will stop power to starter or from bike starting. It’s a vf750 sabre 1984
