How does the powder coated engine case hold up

I love my new roadster and have 3,500 miles on it after only two months. I´m wondering though, how will the powder coated engine case hold up. It seems like its going to be a bear to keep looking good. Grease or oil spots seem very difficult to get rid of. I have to say, I wish they would have used stainless instead. I know I can get it chromed, but that´s too expensive. Anyone out there have a lot of miles and still have a good looking engine??
