The 800 seems to be reliable and strong enough so far at 5k. Looking for sme relatively inexpensive pipes of high quality. Any ideas? Will log 500mi days 2 or 3 times a yr. w/Givi windshield and soft bags. I have an 03´ "S" model and it sticks to the mountain roads in my area.
Only upgrades I plan currently are pipes, open airbox, and chip if required. Occasionaly wish I had gotten the ne 1000 DS. Still....like the old 2 valve air cooled Ducati motor.
