Those figures are for the euros and their emission laws. I thought it was a bit strange too that the lc4 road had more horsepower the the competetion version, but you´ll find that once the carb, airbox and exhaust restrictors are removed the grunt gets a lot better. I put my lc4 640 sm on the dyno and got 48.3 hp at the rear wheel, sold it and bought the 660 smc, yet to dyno but have been told somewhere around 55. Looking for more horsepower as i text....can never have too much :)
