Ive owned my King since July and have 2000 miles on it. I have added python3 slip-ons and had the fuel injection remapped and so far the bike has been great. There haven´t been any mechanical problems so far. The balance of the bike is great for such a large machine. The acceleration is fine for me. I don´t see any need for the 95" upgrade at this time. It´s great for 2-up riding although the stock seat gets on your nerves after a few hours. I added Heritage Softail bars and that relieved a lot of stress on the lower back. I´m 6´2 and 270 lbs and the stock bars made me reach a bit, but the new bars are fabulous. It wasn´t necessary to replace any of the stock hoses to add the bars. It was close, but it is fine. The stock shield is too high as well. I have added an aftermarket shield and that helps a lot. Price-wise, all Harleys are overpriced, but I don´t regret the purchase at all. If you are in the market for one of these hot rods, then go for it. I do have the squealing front brake syndrome as many others have, but its ok to me. It isn´t too intrusive. There is a lot of mechanical noise from the drivetrain to the valves in the heads. I dont care so much because I like to think of it as a hot rod from the 60s with solid lifters and all the appeal of the tire-fryers from back then. They could have added all the cam driven goodies of today but then you wouldnt have the bike that they build. Harley has a lot of things that come with it...like inflated prices on all the extra parts, but I accepted that when I paid for the bike. Its a done deal. I love the bike and would do it again in a second. Anyone who says this bike runs like junk, obviously didnt do any research because this is no crotch rocket and was never intended to be. This is a serious road machine for watching the mile roll past. Questions or opinions welcome.
