i just bought a xb9s 2 months ago, and i am a die hard sportsbike finatic, i used to mc as primary means of trans. i had a 2000gsxr, and love the jap bikes, and not to mention i was a bit skeptical about buying an american v twin, i read about it for several months and decided to test drive it, and fell in love right then, as a cyclist with over 100,000 miles xperience, and being an ex assembly mechanic, i think that i made a wise motorcycle decision, i dont have any quality worries, it is a stable and well constructed bike, from what i call the best brakes in the industry(which are on no other bike, except in some concept bikes, not production bikes) to the dampening and rebound adjustments (which most bikes dont have the rebound adj.)to the belt drive(which many bikes harley has been doing belts for over 20 years, if they did not work they would have gone back to the chain.) not to mention the chain tensioner!! being a former chain owner and lubing and tightening all the time, glad that is over with. anyway i still have the gsxr and am selling it. i have found the bike of my dreams. ps i even bought my girlfriend a blast for xmas(gotto mention though as being a longtime cyclist it was a little embarissing taking a blast for a testdrive, i know opinions are like buttholes, but that is mine, other than a test drive i would never be cought owning one, but i bought one for her, so they must have been doing something right, they got another buell sold, they make gggggggggreat bikes.
