Hello. I ride a 2000 Fatboy and I usually ride 15k or more miles a year. My wife rides with me (backseat) for 3-4k a year and now she wants her own HD. She is 5-4" tall and 140lbs and has ridden dirt bikes for years as a youngster. She is athletic and can hold her own but feels the 1200 plus HD´s are too big. We never dreamed of buying a Hugger, but they "feel" just right to my wife. And we can get a good used one for 6k or under. She wants to commute in good weather to work (40 mile round trip) and ride along side me to a few rally´s, maybe 500-600 miles one way. Help us out brothers and sisters - is this a good move? What do you think about your purchase? How easy is it to find accessories? I never have a problem finding stuff for my Fatboy. Thank you! " |
