I purchased a new one from a dealership. Its an awesome little off-road bike. Perfect for tiny tight trails and can handle some pretty large jumps. It still has 35 year old technology in the motor, wich is why I bought it. The newer XRs rev alot higher and quicker but are still generally the same. You cant beat the reliability of these little honda bikes. They last for decades. Rebuilding the engine if you take care of it will be probably every 8 to 12 years. The only downside to the 70 so far is finding certain aftermarket products such as fork springs. There are tons of parts for the XR 50 but I like the 70 better. Its more comfortable and feels more like a dirtbike. Its alot faster too. Works performance builds rear shocks for the XR70 wich I bought becuase I am too heavy for the bike. Your best bet for fork springs would be Lindemanns Suspension, they might be able to build some. Well im done, Go enjoy owning a Honda Motorcycle.
