What´s best motor oil?

With wet clutch, oil with anti-friction additives is not recommended. With bigger engines; (1600 Yamaha), I´ve seen Rotella-T 15w40 recommended over Yamaha oil(expensive). Any technical experts out there? Where´s a good source of aftermarket filters?
