I did this last spring. Before i did it i was running 3000rpm at 60mph. Now i am running between 2500-2600rpm at 60mph. I have not noticed much if any loss of power at low end. I go for plenty of long trips with friends and have went solo and with a passenger. I reccomend doing it. I am very happy with the outcome and the cost is very easy on the pocket book..Have fun.
