Just purchased a 1978 with the idea of turning it into a bobber. Having electric starter added now by a Harley expert. He got into the case last night and commented that it looks like a recent rebuild, but he suspects a possible burnt valve. If so, I´m prepared to take care of that as well. The new frame, a 4.5 inch stretch hard tail should be on my porch this afternoon. My build budget is $6,000, I´m into it so far $3,913 and looking like I will come in under by at least $1,500.. Any help you folks can provide will be great.... |
