I´ve owned my FXR about 5 years now,bought it from the original owner.Its a very good,fun motorcycle,great in traffic,lottsa fun at stop lights(very fast 1/8 mile). I´ve done some work to the top end including 10 to 1 pistons,good valves and springs,roller rockers,good stout cam,SS"E" carb, crane ignition,python3pipes,..But only because I wanted to,didn´t have to, the bike was already fast!!Its hard on front tires(uneven wear, cupping)but have been told it was normal.Back tires last about 4000 miles,seems they just go up in smoke!!
