The bike shown IS NOT a CZ185 trail but the roadster. The trail has a semi-high level pipe, a 21 inch front wheel and runs a different set of gear ratios than the roadster which has the Type 477 engine unit. The trail has the Type 475 engine (I think). Colours were unique to the trail as well being either lime green our lemon yellow. Very rare to find one with the original leg shield on the exaust. Power output is 14.5 BHP restricted and 19.9 BHP unsrestricted. Top speed is 71 MPH restricted and 84 MPH unrestricted. Restriction is by a metal pipe inside the plenum chamber. It was originally there to make the bike slower than the larger JAWA 250 roadster. Best handling trail bike ever built when on the road!! Andy. |
