What kind of oil does it take?

What kind of oil does a SX 175 Harley Davidson take. Model 1976. I now it takes 2-cycle oil but I dont know what other kind it takes. When I changed it, it looked dark red. Its also been sitting for about 8 years. Please contact me by email. Thank you
