hey guys. im tom 58 years old and am in the proses of buying a 1976 sporty. ive been a mechanic most my life until cancer 7 years ago. canser is doen good but im all tore up now. cancer is in remission for now. thank god! I owned a 1974 sporty years ago. I did the top end over and remember doen cluch also. so long ago I really do for get. Im on s.s.i. paid half of bike bringing it home april 2nd. I could deff. use some help when I get it home. I didn´t know there sites like this. this is really GREAT!!!!!!!!!. WELL IM NOT THAT GREAT WITH COMPUTERS BUT MINS PRETTY GOOD AND IM PRETTY GOOD AT USEING IT. I HOPE WE CAN HELP EACH OTHER. SO FAR I GOT TO GET A BATT. AND ITS BRAKEN UP A BIT. SAT FOR 1 YEAR ON RESERVE SUPER E CARB. IM GONNA GET IT HOME GET NEW BAT DO COMPRESSION TEST THEN HE HAS A REBUILD KIT FOR CARB. ILL CLEAN AND REBUILD THAT. HES 1 OWNER DROVE IT OUT OF SHOW ROOM. GUYS GOT 2 OTHER BIG BIKES and 69 MINT chevelle he knows his stuff. its got (I think he said) comp 1 electronic ignition and race coil. im gonns go through it and wish me luck!
