| the 750 honda shadow spirit..2008..has suitable power for one...but two up kinda sucks..if you are trying to make some time on i80 forget it...it doesnt have it...the saber 1100 will do it .. the 750 is supossed to handle great ..it doesnt handle like a light bike ..it feels like 800 lbs,,..they say the seat is uncomfortable not true..its better than harleys or many other bikes....it has some vibration..and the skinny tire up front picks up a lot of hiway bumps...a bigger bike rides smoother..bigger tires also smoother...it is front heavy..and i prefer older bikes as far as handling...but it gets great milage...and starts well ..as far as shifting ...they are supossed to shift very smooth...that is a lie ..ive tried to adjust my honda to shift ..go into gear etc...it dont do it..i dont like the no work stand ..no oh shit handle ...and yo have to take the seat off for the battery...you cant just hit a lever and lift...that sucks.... but for the price its best bang for the buck...the motorcycles of today are so over priced its just totally lame...buy a used one..with lower miles and you will be better off...the shadow is cool for shorter riders ..but if you can handle it ..get a used gold wing ...the way to go ..br ..40 years of riding .; |
