I made the choice of this bike as a track tool,but the fun factor is quite high in this mount.Never got tired or used to all this torque,this is a wheelie monster. | ||||

This thing pulls very hard,it has good handling,albeit tire pressure is got to be spot on.Suspension is second rate,though,you can feel the fork having a hard time on bumpy,off cambered turns,and it locks hydraulicly at hard wheelie landings,so be carefull with the proverbial tankslapper.I took mine to the track,with minor modifications,only brake work,the usual replacement of brake lines,liquid and pads and raced it to 4th in my class on my first outing.It explodes out of corners very good,pulls like a Duc but long straights are hard on it,I seldom saw 145MPH with stock gearing.Stability is rock like,though.Never felt unsecure.Ground clearance can be better,too. On the road it is a diferent thing.This is where it shines,at twisty canyons,this thing is very dificult to keep up with,as the torquey motor let you reel in pavement at a spirited pace.The sound is wonderfull too,when silencer is opened up.It sounds powerfull.I think of it as my personal escape vehicle,escaping from the daily pains of living,into the world of adventure and adrenalin. |
