Awesome Dyna Ride

A female prespective... I learned on a Honda Rebel 250. Rode the rebel for about six months. My husband surprised me with a brand new 2007 883L since I´m vertically challenged. The sporty handled great but top heavy. I rode the 883L for about one year, in fact the longest trip was from San Diego County to Laughlin, NV about 700 miles round trip. After that trip I knew I was ready for a bigger bike. I did a great deal of research on my own to figure out what would fit me needs. The Dyna Low rider, in fact I wanted a 03, 04 or 05 because the frame changed in 06. The 06 and above have a taller frame. I found my bike on cycletrader.com It was one of those once in a life time deals. I now have ridden the Dyna for two years and love it. It handles like a dream. I too wish it were fuel injected but that´s the ONLY thing I don´t like about the bike. I plan on keeping the Dyna for a long time. Right now I´m looking at custom wheels and matching rotors. The original owner was a female rider as well. She put lots of goodies on it, which look GREAT!!! Semi drag bars with 8 inch risers, screaming eagle pipes, new hand grips and foot pegs. Oh yes to prove I ride, the bike had 5K when I bought it in February of 2007. I now have over 17K. My husband and I are very active in our local HOG Chapter. Take care my fellow riders. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. | |
