I drove this scooter for 10,000 kilometers in about 14 months.

I found this scooter to have a strong engine, but I had problems with the reliability of this engine becuase of what I was told is a mixute of ethonal with the gasoline, which is what we have here. It handled two people well. I got about 57 miles to the gallon, which is less than the specs. call for. I also found the plastics to be cheap and weak. I found that they did not hold up very well to rough service. I loved the disc brakes the most of anything on the scooter. I found that the small diameter tires made the scooter less stable than one with larger diameter tires would be. Over all, I liked this scooter enough so that I am going to buy another one, beacuse the first one was totalled by a careless driver. If Honda or Vespa made a scooter with the same features and specs, as the Super9, I would buy it instead, even at more money. | |
