Very impressive

Thoughts after the first year.

I have now had my Sabre for a year, and after almost 18,000 miles can say that I feel comfortable writing a review on the bike.

From day one I have tracked the fill-ups and kept an ongoing tally of it´s fuel economy. It has averaged out for the year at 46mpg. Not bad considering the varying conditions and elevations, as well as speeds I have ridden over that year.

Pros:
Great Mileage

Lots of after market goodies ( I have a little over Dollars 10k in mine and only paid 4200 for it)

Excellent styling

Plenty of power.

Very comfortable to ride on extended trips.

Cons:

The factory seat is horrid, a call to corbin fixed that.

The factory dunlop tires also leave alot to be desired.

Since purchase I have added/done the following:

Added Memphis fats tall windshield
Added mc enterprises highway bars and pegs
Added Kuryakyn flame iso grips and stilletto bar ends
Added Chilhowee bags with ez brackets
Added kuryakyn brake and shifter lever covers
Added front and rear kuryakyn pegs.
Powder coated factory rims gloss black
Custom paint
Added irate Customs skull and flame chrome radiator cover
Added led underbike light kit
Added corbin gunfighter seat
Custom paint
Added Metzler tires
Added Cobra Exhaust
Added dynojet kit and new slow jets
Added K and N high flow air filter
Added Barnett Racing Clutch
Custom clutch cover and speedometer face.

Overall I love the bike ( I have 5 others) and plan to keep it forever. Looking forward to the next 20k miles.
