Although it hasn“t got all the bells and whistles of many modern touring bikes, the table flat torque curve and great handling, not to mention an under 600 lb wet weight make this old trumpet a fine ride!

I bought this 2011 bike, as a leftover in 2013 (it was new) and honestly can find very few things to grumble about. The 31 liter hard cases come off like a snap, and have proven to be totally waterproof.

The only electronic aid is ABS, which comes in quite handy here in Washington state when the roads get wet. I until this time have owned many bikes, but never a touring one (Ex- Kaw ZX12R, ZX14R, Honda CBR1000RR, Suzuki SV650, Kaw VStrom 1000, KTM 990 Adventurer).

I am extremely pleased with the linear power and great handling of this bike. It averages close to 50 mpg, and has never let me down. I went on a 5800 mile solo trip 3 summers ago. The bike never missed a beat from just above freezing to 100 plus degree heat.

My only issues were two flat tires, not the fault of the Triumph.
