I use this bike to get me to the start of tramps and on camping trips. Does 300 kms on a tank of petrol very comfortable seat and about the easiest bike I have ever ridden in 40 years of 40 bikes | ||||||
I have geared it up with a 16 tooth front sprocket raised the handlebars 2 cms put on a spitfire small screen. And an extended carrier home built to carry my tramping pack. Cruz´s nicely at 90 kms an hour and hangs on well up an incline being a single engine. I have fitted a lithium battery to lower the weight and it does the job well. Brakes are excellent. Very easy to maintain. Downside well 400 ccs would be better, and a kick start would make it more authentic. Chrome work is not long lasting compared with other bikes I have. You need to keep it very clean. |
