The Katana 600 is a well rounded do it all bike with good performance and handling. Although heavy compared to the modern sport bikes, the Katana handles very well and is a stable platform over the road. If you are looking for a sensible sporty all around bike, its a great choice. | ||||||

I currently have a 2006 Suzuki katana 600, the Katana is a great bike that combines performance and comfort in a great way. The bike has excellent ergonomics and can be used for longer distance rides than most bikes in its class. The Katana gets some bad press from some of the riders of the 600 sport bike class who like to compare the Katana to racing bikes such as the Yamaha R6, Suzuki GSXR 600, Honda CBR 600 RR and so on. All these bikes are liquid cooled race ready bikes that weigh almost 100 lbs less and produce more hp at much higher rpms than the air cooled katana. The katana is a more usable street oriented bike that does it all. If you are looking for a bike the, kat is worth a look.
