Ready to race machine that can compete with any other 65 on the track without adding a thing. The Polini XP 65 R is an aggressive, purpose built race bike that is excellent for anyone looking to purchase a bike ready to race without tinkering with exhaust, jets, or upgrading suspension.

This bike has good power throughout the power band but really wakes up at the top of the gear like any other 2 stroke. The bike does not feature a power valve so it really snaps when it hits the power band and it is for surely not suited for beginners and still requires a good amount of seat time for an intermediate rider to become comfortable with.

With that being said, once the rider is accustom to the power, this bike can perform as well if not better than any other bike on the gate. Plus it´s nice to see a color other than orange on the track!

Largest downside is parts suppliers. Ebay seems to be the best friend for Polini owners unless you are lucky enough to live near a dealer. Parts prices aren´t too different from any other bike, but just may be harder to find depending on where you live/race.

The Polini is also not a cheap machine. Purchasing a new one will run around Dollars 4,000. However, if you can find a good used unit in your area, take the time to check it out and compare it to the other big name 65s on the market and you may find yourself surprised with the style and attitude of this Italian mini-race machine.
