My twenty year personal relationship with my 2001 Harley FXD DYNA GLIDE. I´d do it all again if I were a young man. It is beautiful and an eager cruiser to get to my destination. Would I do it again? You bet I would. | ||||||

I´m selling my 2001 FXD to my brother-in-law after 20 years of ownership. I bought it new in Dallas after owning many other good machines. It has been a great bike to own and ride, almost 43,000 miles. My wife rode behind me for 10 years and we went all over the country. Our longest trip was just short of 5,000 miles and took three weeks. It has been very dependable mechanically. The only major expense was replacing a noisy lifter at 21,000 miles. We decided to replace the cams, lifters, and chain tensioners at that time. I´ve run Royal Purple 20-50 since then. All is well. |
