I am about to start my 26th year of riding my all-time favorite bike, 1989 Transalp last summer I left with friends in Portland Oregon. This year I’m going to spend much longer and probably be with in Illinois. Hope to see you on the road. | ||||||

After 60 years of riding, this is my all-time favorite bike, a 1989 Transalp. I live in Hawaii and go to the US mainland for the last 25 years and for the last 12 years I put about 5000 miles on this bike. I’ve ridden it all over the country and it’s been faithful and a joy to ride. I feel so one with this bike, it makes me bionic. I’m about to head out for the next round in about three weeks, I plan to do three months and ride from Portland OR to Nova Scotia, if they’ll let me in, and down the East Coast and back up to Illinois, Where I’ll leave the bike this year. I never know just what’s going to happen, but it’s always an adventure. Hope to see you. Greg |
