Review of the 2014 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout:Has to be a lemon |

Nothing but problems. New bike 14 miles, needed new clutch and fuel pump. Electrical problems. Bike overheats and stalls, numerous times. Was told by dealer ´don’t ride in heavy traffic´. | ||||||

Another dealer found the stalling problem. Fuel filter needed to be heavy duty. That stopped the problem. Original dealer had bike numerous times for stalling problems and never found the gas filter problem. Was told by dealer I need a new clutch. Took it to another dealer and was told no you don’t need a new clutch. Engine blew out. There are numerous other problems that I did not mention. Fortunately, I purchased a service warranty plan for seven years on this bike. It came with a 7 year parts HD warranty. Now had 50,000 miles on it. Thank God I bought an extended service warranty on this or I would have been in the poor house. Have another year and a half left on warranty and will hold their feet to the fire. Be warned. Also original price was jacked up Dollars 3000.00 on original invoice. |
