Overall, I am very happy with the purchase of a 2006 Honda VTX 1300C. Early in 2017 I found a 2006 Honda VTX 1300C with just under 4000 miles. It had been kept immaculate. With the knowledge I have I consider it a wise purchase. | ||||||

The largest bike prior to this was a Honda Shadow 750. I was concerned with the increase in weight since I stand about 5´5´ and weigh about 150 lbs. At first the ride was imposing. The odometer now reads about 7500 miles and it is becoming a part of me (or me a part of it). I just had a 8000 mile service check up and the ride is even smoother. Very good acceleration, smooth ride at low and high speeds. The only sounds that could have been eliminated during production are the metallic sounds when shifting into first and second gears. With practice slow turns are being mastered especially when using the rear brake, clutch, and accelerator. |
