If you can only have one bike, this is the bike to get. I bought this bike new in may of 2013 and have loved it since. I love the clutchless throttle on upshifts! And gobs of torque. This bike pulls at any RPM and is smooth. | ||||||

I wanted a bike with a driveshaft so I didn´t have to fool with a chain any more. And for everything this bike has and its size, it is still pretty light and handles the corners well. I ride year round and the bike feels safe and well mannered when the ASC and ABS are on (in bad weather is a great help). My wife is comfortable on it for taking trips of multiple hours. Put on the sport panniers and large rear bag and we can take everything we need for a weekend and still have lots of room for her to shop and take stuff home with us. I have really enjoyed this bike so far, have had zero mechanical problems in 18,000 miles, but the maintenance cost at the dealer and for parts is high, at least coming from a Suzuki SV1000. All in all I haven´t seen another bike that has what I want all wrapped up in a slick package like this one... That said the license plate holder is huge and ugly and finding an aftermarket one is practically impossible so that´s a bummer. |
