This is my 1958 Triumph 5T Speed Twin, the saddle is off while I do some checks to the wiring harness. The bike is an ex UK Police bike from the 195060s | ||||||
I`ve owned her for 5 years now, and bought her on an emotional trip because she reminded me of my black Triumph T110 that I owned from 1973 to 1979 and wished I`d never sold. I`ve currently just finished rebuilding the clutch with new plates and after setting it up is now working really well with the slick shift gearbox, look up "slick shift gearbox" and you`ll see why it`s called that. I`m tempted to strip her down to the last nut and bolt and rebuild her to the standard I rebuilt my T110 in the 70s, although what I`d really like is to buy another rundown T110 and do it with that bike. We will see. :) |
