don,t think crank breather would be a problem..if the bike has been standing for a while i would say the carbs are gummed up.. also check the inlet rubbers for leaks as this will cause the bike to run lean..same problem i had and these parts are discontinued..my only solution was to stikaflex them in..crude but effective
