Alternate method-- Drive belt slack can be checked by hand by lightly pushing up on the lower half of the drive belt midway between the sprockets. Drive belt slack is approximately correct if the belt can be pushed up 15-20mm (0.6-1.0 inches). However, inspection with the drive belt tension gauge is recommended for accurate measurement of drive belt slack. Caution: Drive belt slack inspection should be checked when the belt is cold (before riding). rear axle nut torque 55-65 Nm or 40-47 ft/lbs
