RE: I Love it

Why anyone would want to go over 75 mph other than on a spontaneous burst of power is something that I have difficulty imagining. Then again, I´m an old fart. I find the wind, even with a good windshield, too fatigueing to sustain 75 mph for very long. I´m sure there are those that find such riding excilerating, but I´m not one of them. I will say that the VN800 has no trouble riding along at 85 or 90 mph for sustained periods. It is a great bike. My only complaint is the rake in the steering head. I´d like the steering to be more like that of a sport bike, somewhere around 25 degrees or less. As it is, the bike handles like a wheel barrow.
