RE: Where to change the OIL?
Andy Creighton said 2008-10-01 05:02
i have a 1986 honda elite 80. the oil light is on and i do not know where to change it. HOWEVER...i DO know that if your scooter SPUTTERS AND KILLS IF YOU TRY TO ACCELERATE, just open your seat cover and hook jumper cables to the scooters correct ends of its battery and connect it to your car battery just like you would to jump-start a car. turn on your car, then turn on your scooter. keep it connected for at least 30 minutes while both vehicles are on and running. then unhook safely and drive the scooter around the block for a while. then if its not that, then its definitely the oil. but the jump-starting worked for me. any more quick questions you can email me. -Andy
