Hi all, I bought one of these early Ninja´s a few months ago and have been having lots of very cheap fun ever since. I have only had 1 problem to date which was the igniter, almost all power lost at 5,500 revs! Got a second hand one off ebay [dealer told me they were no longer available and anyway used to cost nearly £400 which is very nearly what I paid for the bike!] which sort of cured the problem, but it does seem that after about 10 miles it only has about 85% power, just not crisp, and am wondering if the replacement unit is on the way out. This time it is all through the rev range, so maybe the carbs are a bit bunged up? Anyone had similar problems? and how it was cured?
