Hy there! I would like to hear from all you bike drivers, who has or not a Keeway bike! Write your experiences, share your knowledge..
I own a Speed 150 Keeway! I can say it is a really reliable bike! I bought it in April 2007, have driven it mostly in the city! Although it has just air cooling(in my opinion it should have water cooling), it doesn\´t heat up! Before this bike I was driving a Tomos Automatic TLS, and Tomos T14, since they all are older bikes (The Automatic is from 84, and the T14 from 77), and they bout have 49ccm, the jump from 49 to 150ccm was great deal for me! The Keeway has much more power, speed and it is much heavier! Although it has 120kg dry weight, it is really stable and easy to turn with! The fuel consumption is below 3l when driving in city, and about 2,5 on open road! You can get real fast from 0-80 km/h when driving on 6-7k rpm in fifth gear is a real pleasure! When you need to pass someone the response to gas is quick and powerful! The disks also do their job fine!
About the bad side, a few time the clutch budged, so I needed to release it and press again to be able to change gear(the others whom I talked to who also own Keeways, say they don\´t experience this), and also you will need to tighten once a 1k km the chain, and oil it!
So if you have some questions write, I will be happy to answer!
