Hi all, I purchased a new stratoliner S a few weeks ago and today I took it out for my first ride after completing the MSF course last week. I was concerned about riding this bike after being away from motorcycling for more than 25 years and then riding a 250 honda for the course. Well, I´ll tell you all that this bike rides and handles terrific!! I was amazed how easy it was to ride compared to the 250 I was on last week. I do have a question however - this bike seems to clunk or have transmission slap for lack of a better word or phrase when you roll off or on the throttle in first and second gear at lower speeds. Is this a technique thing or is it inherent in all bikes of today or should it be brought back to the dealer to look at. Just been away so long and never had a large cruiser in the past so I have nothing to compare to. Any advice would be welcome.
