450 Ducati Desmo Scrambler

I had one of these and rode it around in California. Great on the freeway as well as in the dirt. It does have a weak point you need to know about (as did all the Ducati 250, 350, 450s)... you need to make sure the oil doesn´t get too low and you have to unscrew the oil plug/dipstick (metal) with a wrench or socket..you also need to clean out the oil gravity hole in the crankshaft regularly...pull a bolt in front of crankcase, use a 1/2" flat screwdriver bit to unscrew the plug screw, then clean out the oil sediment with a smaller screwdriver..otherwise you lose the crankpin and it´s time to overhaul the engine. Let me know if you have one for sale at an affordable price, say $800. I miss mine.
