Chain Slack
Jeff Stultz said 2007-07-09 01:14
I am new to riding motorcyles. I have a 1976 Yamaha XS500. I know the chain has too much slack, but I donĀ“t know how much it should have. I read how you can check it by pushing down and up on the chain and measuring the distance between the two points. Is this correct? If so, what distance should it be? Please point me in the right direction.
