RE: DNA instruments

Gilera DNAs have always had the electronic dash problem. I have a DNA 50 2000 model and mine has had three speedos on it from new. All done under warranty, touch wood the current one has lasted the longest. The normal first sign is the speedo stops speeding up and slowing down. Then the milometer doesn´t clock up the miles any longer. The last dash I had I waited 6 weeks for it. The first speedo I had which came on the bike from production was Gileras first design. The one I have know is same design but has apparently got modifications inside, this is according to the Gilera scooter centre I use. You should´t have any problem with Gilera and the warranty. I would advise if you haven´t done so already to extend your warranty from one year to three. It only costs £30 for the extra two years but well worth it. You can apply for it in the front of your service book.
