RE: Difference between Gold Wing and Gold Wing Aspencade

There weren´t any signifigant design changes for the 1520 cc goldwings (1988 through 2000), other than a drop in seat height and minor suspension upgrade in 1995. So the design for the ´93s is an good as any in terms of reliability, which is extremely good. My ´93 Aspencade just clocked over 136,000 miles last month and has never had any mechanical problems. The performance is as good as new, it will still easily push 130MPH when I open it up, and doesn´t burn any oil. That ´93 with only 38000 miles should be very reliable, sounds like a cherry pick.
