need advice from an old boy who used to ride a dt 400

Hey riders, I grew up on mini bikes, then progressed to larger enduros. I used to ride a Yamaha dt 400 in the good old days (late ´70´s, early 80´s)when th4y were called enduros. I loved that bike!...but I had to get rid of it for other priorities in life. Now, 25 years later I have got the itch so bad it keeps me awake at night. I´d like to buy another bike, and I don´t want to be confined by road curbs so I´m looking at another enduro (I see the official title is now ´dual sports´). I was happy with the power of the dt but the bikes have changed so much (most are now 4 stroke duals). What would you recommend...is the Suzuki drz 400s comparable? I´ll probably do 60% road, 40% trail (easy going, not moto-cross balistic riding). Any comments from old boys (or the younger crowd that is familiar with the old dt´s) would be appreciated. cheers, and stay safe
