the way i got my 1983 cx650c to handle good. 1.drop the forks in the triple clamps 1" measured from the top of the fork tube to the top of fork clamps[triple clamps].mine is 1 1/4th inch.2.set the air pressure in the forks,the stems are under the fork caps,so when you set on the bike seat the forks compress 1",set your rear shocks so they compress 1".about 9 pounds of air pr fork tube for my weight,230. 3.i put a 150/90 15 rear tire which is taller than the stock 140/90 15 tire,it raises the rear end which steepens the fork angle and gives the bike slightly taller gearing which lowers my rpm while riding on the highway and it corners good.just thought i would share this,ride safe.
