I recently did a lot of work on my 1993. removed air boxea instaled K&N directly to carbs re jeted to 136. replaced clutch pack with mean streak spring. When I reassembled and trunded on ing. fuel begun running from what I though was the hoses. What happen was the fuel pump pressure switch failed and pump contiued to run and flood bike. I shut down removed seat took off the supply line from pump pluged it and started the pump again via ing. switch, rapped the pump a couple of times, pressure switch kicked in and shut down the pump as it should . replaced fuel hose tyo carbs. havenĀ“t had any problems so far. ps. my old bike truned to a different bike. here is what I did. remove okld stock exhaust system ,replaced with vance&hines slash cut. removed old air box system ,replaced with a K&N kit filters direct to carbs rejeted to 136s replaced clutch pack and installed mean streak clutch spring. The old bike will do wheeles from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. I hope your problem is as simple as was mine.
