RE: Harley Davidson FXRT

I´ve owned my 1988 FXRT since 1991. I bought it with 45,000 miles on it. It now has over 151,000 miles. Much of which has been 2 up touring. I´ve spent many a vacation on this bike between Key West Fl. and Prince Edward Island, Canada. Never have I ever been stranded on the road. and the only repairs needed are usually of the self inflicted varity. It is chromed out, gauge package, tail trunk, and a Corbin custom touring seat. It´s a joy to ride and probably one of the best machines Harley Davidson ever made. The engine has Wisco pistons(stock compression)Andrews EV27 cam, Mikuni HSR42, Cycle Shack drag pipes with baffles, Crane HI4 ignition. I´m about to do another base gasket job. This time I´ll be installing the oil return pigtails. I cant stand a leak, no mater how minor.Would like to share riding and wrenching experiences with other FXRT owners
