RE: Constant mechanical problems

I suggest staying away from anything with the Buell name on it for a starter bike, You´ll just end up with headaches. Do yourself a favor and look into a Suzuki GS500 (the older ones are similiar to the Buell in terms of style) or a Kawasaki EX500. Better yet for a beginer is the Kawasaki Ninja 250R Easer to ride than the Buell with mor nut and less mechanical worries. And not trying to be a dink or anything Cambell but a 10k head gaskett replacement sucks, I have a 1974 Honda CB750 that has over 17k on it and I beet the **** out of it and all I have to do is change the oil and ad gas. Oh and also the 750 will do about 140mph :).
