RE: Turbocharging my gpx

Wow, I had no clue, I thought that over in germany you´d be able to get away with alot more stuff like that, what with the autobaun and all. Why on earth would they put you in jail for something like that? Many Many vehicles have turbochargers, and adding one is an increase in an engines efficiency. And although I live in a america, you have the upper hand when it comes to parts, parts are very hard to locate here. And if you do find them they are VERY expensive. But I beleive the bike is worth it. I´m working on a new turbo design that uses the butterflys from a new fuel injected bike in their stock location, but without the injectors. (maybe just for fuel enrichment) and the actual fuel supply will be provided via a large single v-twin carb on the turbocharger´s intake known as a "suck through" setup, but with the butterfly throttle plate remove in it, so that it operates and supplys fuel according to the f.i. throttle instead of the carb. ingenius, this allows me to use an aftermarket blow off valve, and still retain the systems simplicity. :) It´s great talking to you guys, there aren´t many of us around with this bike, if more people pop on here and give the word, I´m gonna start a website for this bike, and the related. -Colt
