What timing is that? Ignition? The bike has a springloaded centrifugal device to set increased pre-ignition. All you need to do is get the ignition connector to connect when the crankshaft is in the right position. You need a circuit tester and a monkey wrench. Connect tester on each side of the ignition connector, turn crankshaft until it lights up, this should be at the "T" mark if I remember correctly.
