Typical Running Temperature

Hi, I bought a 2002 Super Hawk in March. Its new, straight out of the crate. Originally the temperature gauge would hang around 185-190 degrees in city driving (30-50 m.p.h. in second and third gear). The fan didn´t come on because it didn´t hit 215 degrees. Now, unless I am on the freeway and doing over 65 m.p.h., the temp. hits 215 degrees and the fan is almost always on. People at the dealership tell me that is normal. I took it to another dealer who did a coolant check, and he said everything was OK. On a message board I read that the temp. shouldn´t reach 215 degrees unless I was in stop and go traffic. If anyone can let me know what their Super Hawk temperature runs at, I would appreciate it. Thanks guys!
