RE: Aprilia Pegaso 650 i.e. How reliable is?

Let you know in about 3 years time!. I´ve done 7,000 miles since end of October (2001) and it´s running fine. Annual estimated mileage 24,000. A few small niggles nothing major. Smooth when run in, handles OK, you can get the pegs down - at least I have during February (in the UK). It is more work to make it handle than I expected but you soon don´t notice the effort at all. It came with MT 80´s which are OK when warmed up a bit. Makes a bit of a change from my old Gilera NordWest (much quicker steering like Peg 2) on MTR23/24 Pirellis (they´re brilliant). I will never take it off road but wish you could get some better rubber for it ie more street orientated (yes I have left lots of *sportsbikes* for dead round corners wet and dry.) Nice thing - you can get a centre stand for it. I will never buy another bike without the ability to add one of these forgotten items again.
